Welcome! My name is Maddy Ashmun and I’m a senior economics and journalism major at Northwestern University.  As a cellist, stage manager, and art aficionado, I am passionate about the arts and arts journalism.  I have thoroughly enjoyed engaging with the New York and Chicago arts scenes through my position as Media Director at WNUR-FM, Northwestern's student radio station, and recent internships with Lincoln Center, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  An adept writer, meticulous organizer, and creative thinker, I hope to continue to push the boundaries of who and where art can reach.
